Welcome to Tribe Styles Design Team
Design Team is an Elite groups of Future Professionals who are preparing for a career in the behind the scenes world of the entertainment industry. Design Team students will learn the basics of set terminology as well as hair and makeup for film, television, and plays. Members will aid in the 2022-23 Theater Productions put on by the McEachern High School Drama Department. This yeas fall one-act production will be Alice in Wonderland and the Spring Musical is Little Shop of Horrors.
Membership
To become a member of Tribe Styles Design Team, students must audition.
Auditions are now open for the 2022-23 school year and will close on December 9, 2022. Please see the below for details for the application process.
Tribe Styles Design Team Audition Rules
Students interested in becoming a member of the Design Team must submit 8 photos of hair and makeup work that was completed by them along with a 2-3 minute time-lapsed video of the work being performed. Photo submission must include pictures of the completed hair and makeup look as well as photos of the student completing the work on the live model.
This year’s audition theme is Little Shop of Horrors. Students must show hair, makeup and costume looks for Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon. The characters should be reimagined in a 1970's New York theme.
All submissions are due along with your application by 3:30 pm on Friday, December 9th, 2022.
NO LATE SUBMISSIONS will be accepted. All work must be performed by students and documented via video recording and photographs. All submissions must include a completed application and should be turned in a digital format to jasmin.douglas@cobbk12.org.
